Welcome! I’m Sue

A Little About My Practice

Reflexology is a gentle, holistic therapy that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, face, or ears. These points correspond to different areas and systems within the body, helping to encourage relaxation, restore balance, and support the body’s natural healing processes.

In today’s busy world, stress can quietly affect our wellbeing, impacting the nervous system, hormones, immune function, and overall health. Reflexology aims to calm and support these systems, helping you feel more relaxed, balanced, and restored.

My treatments are designed to provide a peaceful, nurturing space where you can take time out for yourself, unwind from everyday pressures, and reconnect with your wellbeing.

Whether you are new to reflexology or returning for ongoing support, each treatment is tailored to your individual needs with care, compassion, and a holistic approach to wellness.

Sue is the loveliest lady who is very passionate at what she does and knows her stuff. She has such a gentle, warm, soothing presence which adds to the whole experience. I see her at the Elephant Rooms which is a truly incredible space to have alternative therapies.

I’m two reflexology sessions in and a convert. It’s not at all ticklish (and I am usually very ticklish and sensitive on my feet) and it’s very relaxing (I have nodded off both times!). As a bit of an unexpected bonus, I have been amazed by the positive impact it’s had on me in respect of my menstrual cycle (cycle lengths have shortened thus improving hormonal balances and moods).

Would encourage you to give reflexology with Sue a go if you are considering it. My only regret is that I didn’t take the leap sooner.

  • Will

Sue really knows her stuff, and her reflexology is excellent. She made my feet feel amazing and I felt very relaxed in my whole body throughout. Would recommend giving this a go if you’re into your sports, have some form of pain or just want to feel relaxed!

  • Mari

I had a reflexology session with Sue (April 26) and the experience was excellent. The treatment was deeply relaxing, and I’ve noticed a clear improvement in my mood today. Sue is very professional and creates a calm, comfortable environment. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a high-quality reflexology session.

Frequently Asked Questions

What to expect during your Reflexology session

Your initial session begins with a health and well-being consultation*, allowing me to tailor the treatment specifically to your needs. You’ll then be invited to remove your shoes and socks and relax on a comfortable treatment couch, supported by pillows and blankets to keep you warm.

Your treatment begins with a gentle cleanse using warm towels, followed by a soothing foot massage with natural balm or oils. I then work on each foot using reflexology techniques to stimulate key reflex points and support areas that may need extra care.

.* All consultation details are completely confidential and stored securely in accordance with GDPR.

What should I wear?

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. You’ll remain fully clothed throughout the session, just remove your shoes and socks so I can access your feet and lower legs.

How many treatments will I need?

This varies depending on your personal health goals. Reflexology has a cumulative effect, so regular sessions can lead to far greater, more lasting benefits.

If you’re seeking support for specific issues, stress or physical discomfort, weekly or fortnightly treatments are recommended for 6 to 8 weeks, followed by maintenance sessions.

You can never have too much reflexology!

Can I have a one-off treatment?

Absolutely! Reflexology is a wonderful way to relax and interrupt the cycle of stress.

Many clients report feeling calmer, sleeping better, and experiencing an improved sense of wellbeing after just one session.

I also offer 30-minute taster sessions if you're looking for a shorter introduction to reflexology.
