Welcome!

Reflexology is a gentle, holistic therapy that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, face, or ears. These points correspond to different areas and systems within the body, helping to encourage balance and support the body’s natural healing processes.

The modern approach to reflexology began in the early 1900s with Dr. William Fitzgerald’s “zone therapy” and was further developed in the 1930s by Eunice Ingham, who mapped reflex points to the body’s organs and systems forming the foundation of the practice we know now.

In today’s world, chronic stress can quietly disrupt the brain, nervous system, hormones, and immune function, the 4 key systems that keep us balanced and well. Reflexology helps to calm and support these systems, promoting relaxation, restoring balance, and offering a sense of relief and wellbeing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What to expect during your Reflexology session

Your initial session begins with a health and well-being consultation*, allowing me to tailor the treatment specifically to your needs. You’ll then be invited to remove your shoes and socks and relax on a comfortable treatment couch, supported by pillows and blankets to keep you warm.

Your treatment begins with a gentle cleanse using warm towels, followed by a soothing foot massage with natural balm or oils. I then work on each foot using reflexology techniques to stimulate key reflex points and support areas that may need extra care.

.* All consultation details are completely confidential and stored securely in accordance with GDPR.

What should I wear?

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. You’ll remain fully clothed throughout the session, just remove your shoes and socks so I can access your feet and lower legs.

How many treatments will I need?

This varies depending on your personal health goals. Reflexology has a cumulative effect, so regular sessions can lead to far greater, more lasting benefits.

If you’re seeking support for specific issues, stress or physical discomfort, weekly or fortnightly treatments are recommended for 6 to 8 weeks, followed by maintenance sessions.

You can never have too much reflexology!

Can I have a one-off treatment?

Absolutely! Reflexology is a wonderful way to relax and interrupt the cycle of stress.

Many clients report feeling calmer, sleeping better, and experiencing an improved sense of wellbeing after just one session.

I also offer 30-minute taster sessions if you're looking for a shorter introduction to reflexology.
